Post: Walking for a field trip

Posted by Is this too far? on 8/28/08

Do you think that a walk of about a mile is too far for a
group of high school students to walk (with chaperones, of
course) to go on a field trip? We would have to walk a
mile there and then a mile back. It seems way too close
to take a bus, and that would significantly increase the
amount the students would have to pay, but I'm worried
that some might consider this too far. What do you think?
