Karin, We are on a straight block 8 schedule, 90 minute
    periods, spread over two days.

    Period 1/5 7:15-8:45
    Period 2/6 8:51-10:21
Period 3/7 10:26-12:33 (we have 4 30 minute lunch periods
built into this time frame. Science classes do not split a
period for lunch, due to lab needs)
    Period 4/8 12:39-2:09

As far as testing, some teachers try to be more cognizant of
their students major deadlines than others, but other than
for final exams, we do not try to coordinate testing. With
over 3200 students, it would be impossible.

    HTH!
