And when you DO try to share something that's interesting, fun and
cutting edge, you get teeth-sucking, eye-rolling, or talk behind
your back (yes, I am aware of it!). Personally, I get bored of
doing the exact same things every year. I know it's all new to the
kids, but they catch your enthusiasm or lack of it! Another thing
along this vein, is WHY do administrators insist on you working as a
team?? There are some co-workers that, no matter how hard you try,
you'll never work well with for a variety of reasons. For once, I
would appreciate if an administrator acknowledged the teachers who
DO stay late, develop current lesson plans, plan new projects, stay
current with trends in education, are hands-on with their classes,
and go the extra mile for their students.
