I LOVE my "new" (10 years old) classroom. I had some say-so.
*Many schools have an office/storage area between two rooms.
I have a large walk-in closet with floor to ceiling shelves.
Much more storage space than the offices have.
*I have one sink teacher height and the other child height.
(My suggestion..both were going to be child height.)
*I also have some built in file drawers that are very nice and
can be locked.
*They put in two nice sized bulletin boards. When they put my
Promethean Board in a few years later, it went where one
bulletin board is. My husband helped me turn and rehang it.
It is "portrait" not "landscape" now, so part of it is very
high, but most of it is a good height. Promethean boards are
adjustable so I can lower it to the height I need it.
