You will want to study hypnosis and the semi-consious state.
The tapes are not effective when you are sleeping but are
effective at that point you are relaxed and almost asleep.
Some people actually live in that state of conciousness and are
the ones that are selected out of audiences when some are told
to go back to their seats (would take to long to get them to
that state) during those hypnosis shows.
I have a sister like that. You can start with an opposing view
and tell her over and over that she really thinks your way. She
can go from absolutly not believing something to swearing she
had always believed it. Which by the way I don't do to her
anymore (have to mature sometime)!!hehe
I had taken some classes on hypnosis to see if I could use it
for my child and had a boss once that was a master hypnotist
and explained it all to me in laymans terms.It's all very
interesting.
I used phoenics tapes on my child when he was going to sleep,
to add to the speech therapies. I would catch him playing and
reciting the tapes during the day. Made a believer out of me.
My child is older and has very low self esteem. Being in sales
I have attended sales conferences and heard everyone from Zig
Ziglar to Wayne Dwyer. I will say that Anthony Robbins is worth
every penny to see any opportunity you have. I have all his
CD's and started my child listen to them falling asleep once a
week. Again I was amazed. After a few weeks he would tell me
what he was capable of and his teachers noticed a difference
too.
I would mostly say believe or not you have nothing to lose!!!
