I think that you should ask the children about what they are
talking about that is so importatnt. have a little
conversation with them. When they see that you are taking an
interest into what they are talking about, maybe they will
take an interest to what you are talking about. then make a
deal that if you let them talk for 5-10 minutes before class
then they have to give you their attention until lunch or 5
minutes before. Do it gradually, going from one extreme to
the other is confusing for a child. Good luck!!
