Re: How do you answer . . .
Posted by KY Retired Librarian on 4/02/08

I always told them. Loved to hear the "wow, you're older
than my mother". Now I'm sure it's grandmother... Sometimes
though, with the older kids, I'd say I'm one week younger than
Mrs. X (I really was), another teacher in my school. Then
I'd get the "How old is Mrs. X?" and I'd say "One week older
than me". They'd then ask her and come back and let me know
what she said. Most of the time, I just told them. I
don't mind telling my age, just don't ask my weight!!!!
