I left teaching after 5 years in the classroom, and am now
returning as a librarian after 4 years away. I went back to get
my certification and should finish classes by the end of May. I
just took the state test a few days ago. I applied to 2 places
and they called me for interviews. Both offered me positions
and I chose one. The best advice I would give is contact the
principal directly and have an incredible resume ready. Knock
their socks off at the interview and you will get the job. I
was a little nervous cause I didn't have any school district
connections, but once I got an interview, I knew I would be
offered a job. Good luck!
