    Post: Technical services

    Posted by J on 6/29/08

Hi. I am starting a library media endorsement. One of my
assignments is to look at the state standards, find any
grade level expectations that use the library as a resource
(ex. Internet, encyclopedias etc). I have to share how
library technical services supports the student in this
area( acquisition, processing and cataloging). So..how
would technical services support a student who is
evaluating resources to performa task or topic. He/she
would be selecting resources from library, internet and web
based materials. What is happening behind the scenes?
