Aex is easy once you get the hang of it. Try putting the kids
names under the teacher's names so they are all on one page. I
have them in a book, divided by grade and then alphabetical
according to teachers name. You will find that you get much faster
with this once you learn kids names. I also do check out last.
They read or talk quietly with friends after they have found a
book. I call boys first. They line up at my desk.-- which is near
the door. I zap their book and they go straight to the door to sit
down. I then call the girls and do the same thing. But theis way
I am close and can keep some of those rough-housing boys in control
while I get girls checked out.
