Kevin,
if you can check out 4 books each to 20 kids in 5-10minutes,
more power to ya!
i know how to use ALex...my barcode scanner is persnickety and I
could only get about 50% of the barcodes, had to type the rest.
Today we did a little self check out...I turned the notebook
around (we do have them preprinted by class in a binder) and
they could find their own name, then scan their own books. We
will work on that a bit.
As for sitting and reading when they have checked out their
books...these kids are smart enough to know that if they take a
lonnnnnnnng time looking for a book, they will spend less time
sitting down!
It was better today. But still, doesn't feel like they are
getting much out of it.
