If you are in charge of AV equipment, you probably will
inventory this area also, either with your automation system
if the equipment is barcoded or from an AV list.
Some items may be sent in for repair over the summer
depending on how your district handles things--more items are
considered disposable than they used to be.
If you have district cataloging/processing, you will want to
box and send items to be added over the summer.
Check to see what support you have for holding report cards
if books are still out or keeping students from participating
in Track and Field Day, etc. This can be a strong motivator
to get items returned or paid for.
Don't forget to give notices to your teachers also. They
tend to not want to pay.
