Sad story... Wow. it is hard to believe that she can keep her job. Doesn't your school have teacher evaluations? There should be a job description for the position and if she isn't doing it she should be replaced by someone else who won't give any school who might hear about her an excuse for not having a full time certificated librarian/library program! cc Until our librariarn retired, it was opened at 8:30 and closed at 3:30 p.m. Librarian demanded , and got, full coverage by teachers of the common lunch (one hour)so that she could eat with staff. Jillian Your post confuses me. The librarin has a right to have a lunch time. There shouldn't be students going to the library if there isn't an aide during that time. It would be illegal for lunch to be kept from any one staff member.
