Are you sure your students can stomach this powerful, yet gut-wrenching book about child abuse? I don't want to come across as critical of your choice, but as an adult, I actually got sick. I had never heard of such crime in my life. Did you know that there is a sequeal to this book? I bet you will have to come up with your own teaching units about this book.
