Re: children's rights

Some of my kids have had the privilege to meet with Betty
Williams. Betty won the 1979 Nobel Peace Prize, and is now
working very hard to promote Children's Rights around the
world.
We met her though an organization called Peace Jam, that
brings young people in touch with Nobel Peace Prize Winners.

A number of the Nobel Laureates also serve on their board, so
Peace Jam not only brings the Laureates in contact with young
people, but also provides them with a forum to meet with each
other.
Even if you don't want to form a Peace Jam club at your
school, if you contact their office, they may be able to
provide you with information on Betty's work.
