What do you think race education is? It is pretty self-explanatory.
Regardless of what it could be in theory, in practice it is years and
years of students being taught "multiculturalism" at the expense of
academic rigor. Thus, junk literature like Freedom Writers Diary is
substituted for quality literature like Night.
Why do students need to have race shoved down their throat. Do these
students not have a television set at home so they will grow up not
knowing that black people exist? Give them Black Like Me instead. At
least it wasn't written by a group of immature, no-talent high school
brats. One thing most quality literature has in common is that the
author has entered adulthood. Most children cannot write quality
literature because they are still too immature to do it. Why are we
giving garbage written by immature adolescents to students to read when
they could be reading quality literature?
Oh, yeah, race education and multiculturalism. Any junk can be given to
the young mind as long as you say it is teaching them to respect (Fill
in the blank with people who are not white).
