Re: dorks or geeks? get a life
Posted by: "Master's" Teachers?? on 9/25/09
I loked on this bored becuz I thinked I would find helpfull
information and peeple with who I could relate as a teecher
with a Master's. Yikes! How dissapointing that this is what
you all like to diskuss.
Even with all the typos, do you get the main idea?
Teachers are expected to know grammar and when to use to,
too or effect and affect. However, let's face it, teachers
are not good at everything. We have students feeling
alienated and shooting up schools- which has nothing to do
with their teacher's grammar. Let's support each other and
show some love! Proofread your handouts, even ask a student
in one of your classes to help you proofread. But PLEASE
stop nitpicking and SUPPORT each other. We (teachers) do not
offer enough love and support to each other. So before you
criticize this, just think about how you can make a
difference in a good way- and not through degrading each
other to make yourself look better.
Remember,in this world, teachers seem like the only
supporters of teachers. We all know what we go through in
the classroom. No one else does. So let's use that to our
advantage and support each other. :)
