Steve, that was very funny. :-) Thank you for the laugh.
This issue is not an "over the summer" cleaning thing. It goes
on during the school year. For example, during breaks (such as
spring or winter vacation) or long weekends this administrator
will go through your classroom and move things around. No
warning, no asking, just goes into your classroom and will move
things. Teachers desks, student desks, whiteboards, cabinets,
tables, etc.
In all my years of teaching, I have never had an administrator
go into someones classroom and just rearrange the room! I have
heard of administrators coming in and requesting that you move
things around in your room -- professionally discussing it with
you.
My thoughts on this is to just continue to smile and go with the
flow. I just wanted to see if anyone else had gone through
something similar and how it was handled.
Thanks!
