A good book for a beginning teacher (or any teacher) is The
Cornerstone: Classroom Management That Makes Teaching More
Effective, Efficient and Enjoyable. The author is Angela
Powell who also has a website. Everything about organizing
and running a successful classroom is in this book. I have to
wonder though how someone reaches student teaching without
being interested in becoming a teacher.
