How do you lead your coworkers without being pushy and being interpreted as having a "look how much I know" attitude. How do you get others to listen and follow out of respect?? My principal spoke to me about our grade level needing a leader. The former "leader" had been in the grade level for over 30 years and ran the show. I was hired the first year she was gone. It was a big agjustment year for the grade level. 3 "new to the school" teachers and 3 "Young" teachers (who just lost there leader). We have made our way for the past 3 years..getting to know each other, learning new curriculums and are doing well. However, we don't have a leader to help with change and professional development. My prince would like me to take on this roll.
