I totally agree with this post. I had a conversation with our new
principal just before school got out. They will look at someone
with a master's with no experience, but in some years they have
been directed to stay away from them. The year I hired in I got
lucky, I had a masters and experience, but I lost several years
experience,I wasn't upset since I got a job. The next year the
directive was no masters for new hires, but I am in an elementary
district and they do pay a percentage of your course costs.
