Re: Praxis ii middle school math

    I both disagree and agree with some of the previous comments.

    Not necessarily. There is likely to be some material even in
    middle school math, some of us, even with Master's degrees in
    math, have not seen before. Plus, there are no doubt some
    topics we have seen, but truly never understood the first
    time around.

    I agree on this one. I have heard a teacher teaching exponents
    say something like, "An exponent can be an integer or a fraction,
    but it can't be a decimal." While logarithms are not part of my
    middle school's curriculum, a deeper understanding of the subject
    would have had the teacher saying something like, "Yes, an
    exponent can be a decimal too, but that requires some advanced
    mathematics that you will learn in high school."
