    I do not know what IMP is or stands for - however, I found it
    interesting that after the student expressed his
    dissatisfaction with the IMP series, he ends with the fact
    that:

    > Often times I will spend half an hour trying to figure out
    > the formula, only to discover that Mr. [name deleted] taught
    > it to me last year."

    Obviously, Mr. (name deleted) DID teach the formula (something
    the student complained that other teachers did not do) and it
    STILL didn't make a difference - he couldn't remember it the
    next year NOR did he recognize that this was something
    previously covered.
