I'm baffled, and can't help wondering whether I've completely misunderstood you, or you've confused me with another poster, or what. I was arguing for IMP being worse preparation - - surely that would mean students who'd had IMP would be *more* likely to need remedial classes, and *less* likely to pass their exams?
