Re: Block Scheduling for math
Posted by Resheena on 5/09/08

My classes are set up in block sections. I have 4 sixth grade
classes that are about 75 minutes long. I love the schedule. I
am able to do a lot of example problems with the students. The
students are able to begin their homework in class which helps
because I am there to aid them if needed. I also use a program
called accelerated math, and this schedule allows ample time to
fit this in as well. I would love to do more hands-on
activities, but I am the type of person that I need to "see" how
    to do this better!
