Re: 7th/8th Grade Math
Posted by 7th gr math teacher on 5/06/08

I taught my students how to do Suduko puzzles today. They
loved it. Even the ones who don't participate were
working. I've taught this as a way to show them how to
stretch their brains and as math logic.

I printed one puzzle (gave one to each student) and showed
it on my smartboard. We worked on it as a class. At the
beginning, they groaned, but as time was going on, they were
working it on their own and some finished it before we got
to the end. I also gave them the website to do it on their
    own.

    Hope this helps.
