Re: Designing the perfect math classroom
Posted by dm on 5/08/08

This has been somewhat addressed in a previous string, but
again, I highly recommend a document camera and projector if
    it's in the budget.

One thing I used to have but miss now is a coordinate system
poster on the wall that I could draw on with my dry erase
markers. It didn't take up board space but was great for a
    quick reflection of a problem.

Thinking about my experience in high school, two things
stand out to me: (1) a poster of the unit circle and (2) a
room that was painted a light teal. It was accented with a
darker teal that started at the top of one corner and made a
diagonal to the bottom of the two consecutive corners. I
wish I could explain it better. But I just remember that
    was the most peaceful room.
