    Yes, we still have it.
    Students get really dressed up even though we ask for them to just dress nicely. The
    girls can look a little ridiculous in their too old for them formal wear.
    We used to have problems with students blowing off school that day to get hair/nails
    done for promotion but now if they aren't at school then they can't participate.
    It's something they look forward to and it's a big deal to the students and their
    parents. There's also a dance afterwards...
