Post: High Point as an intensive intervention program?

    Posted by Terri on 10/10/08

I am aware that the High Point curriculum is designed for
ELL students. Has anyone used the High Point program as an
intensive intervention program to help at-risk students
make academic gains? If you have used this program as a
part of an intensive intervention for students who are
performing below grade level, I am interested in finding
out your thoughts and opinions. Also, have you found that
the High Point program can stand alone to keep 7th & 8th
grader engaged and interested? If not, what kind of
supplemental materials or activities have you found useful
    to boost student learning?

*I plan to post this on other boards, so I apologize if
you come across this post in other forums.
