Post: What to do with students who misbehave for Substitute??

OK, I teach 8th Grade Language Arts/Reading. I was out of
class yesterday, and had a substitute. The students were
HORRIBLE for her. They played jokes on her, were rude, etc.
She did not write anyone up, and I have given them all a
very stern speech telling them how dissappointed I was in
their disrespect. What other consequence could I give them
as a class? There are too many students to do individual
consequences.
