I say, assign your portion of the time or a bit more and document,
document, document. Keep records of what you assign, the purpose
of it, etc.
Do you work in teams at your school or is everyone an individual
entity? If in teams, e-mail the team members asking what homework
they are assigning and how long they expect it to take their
students so you can plan your homework level accordingly.
Document, document, document.
