    If there are four classes and 80 minutes per night. That should equal
    20 minutes per subject. I am assuming that the principal thinks you
    aren't giving enough because it took only ten minutes.

    I think what you are doing is fine. If you have to give more, than
    require that they write a summary of what they read. Writing never
    hurts and summarization is a skill worth working on.
