Welcome to the 'parent zone'! Teacher's who have kids aren't
immune to being put in the role of the 'parent'. Here is
what you need to know. You need a thick skin because you are
darned if you do and darned if you don't. Next year you will
probably meet the teacher that is furious with you because
you didn't sit down and help your child learn how to be a
better writer! LOL It is just part of being the parent and
dealing with those that have different ideas from class to
class, year to year.
In this scenario you are ruining your child's chance to take
responsibility for his/her learning.
