For my Australia unit, I included a boomerang that I got off
of ebay for $5.oo, a piece of coral for the great barrier
reef, a stuffed kangaroo, and a Koala. I also have a
didgeridoo, but those can be expensive. What you can do is
download a picture of one, and maybe even download music of
the digeridoo. The kids love it! For a snack, I served
vegemite on crackers. The children could choose if they
wanted to try it. Naturally most of them disliked it, but
some surprised me and enjoyed it!
