    Re: North American Montessori center

However, I wanted to hear from people that do not

We have a teacher in our school who completed her 3-6 training with
    NAMC. Her comments were:
    - not enough philosophy to truly understand "the Montessori way"
    - really missed the practicum portion of the training as nothing
ever 'goes according to the book'
    - although the ideas and extensions were great, she would not
recommend it as an introductory course

Our directress/owner stated that she would be hesitant to hire a
NAMC graduate without te practicum portion of the training. Because
this teacher was a co-teacher she was able to assist her in her
    learning.
I think the best thing is to ask the schools in your area how they
feel about NAMC. I know people who have experience in a particular
class use NAMC as an upgrade to a new level (ie from casa - 6-9)

I chose to go to Ottawa to take my elementary I and II with a
practicum component. Years ago while getting my Ontario Teachers
certificate and BEd. I recognized the value of co-teaching to
    learn.
    Good luck
    Christy
