    AMI elementary training is for 6 - 12 (1 year or 3 summers).
    You can get a MA in Ed. from Loyola of Baltimore with this
    certification (plus 9 credit hours). I have seen schools on
    both AMI and NAMTA websites with sponsorship availability
    although right now is not the best time for a job search (most
    schools have contracts signed by now). Contact schools in your
    area and ask. You may find an assistant job to give you a year
    or so to look into it and get more familiar with it. Good luck!
