Hi Diane! It's so sweet that your daughter wants to do this.
I think it depends alot on the interests and personality of
the Directors... and your daughter should have a pretty good
idea about this if she were in their class. I had ideas such
as: putting together a "recipe kit": a pasta maker and nice
set of cooking utensils collection of other kitchen sets:
kitchenaid, vitamix, etc. or botanical or zoological
lifecycles booklets or descriptive cards flower press (you
can make this) and dissecting tools
What are your daughter's interests? sewing? there are many
pouches, cloths or even aprons that are nice if hand- made.
does she do any beading? She could make a set of glass beads
for counting. Any hand-made boxes (paint/enamel a wooden
box) or bowls (ceramic or wood) are lovely for the
