This student is in a Montessori school. I have been told that
cursive writing in kindergarten is the "Montessori way". In
Ontario, JK is 4 year olds, SK is 5 year olds. I can't say I
agree with cursive writing a this age, but that's the way his
school is doing, so that is what his mother wants him to
practice.
