I represent a group of homeschoolers in TN. We are looking for a part-time tutor/teacher (mon-thurs 9-1) to help us with out K-3 students (hopefully 10 students with 6 committed). There will always be at least one parent volunteer on hand. Don't want to bog you all down with details and don't want to hijack this board. We are all pretty new at this, but committed. Can any provide feedback on where we should look to find an interested/qualified teacher? We are hitting the local college (ETSU), Craigslist (ouch), and networking. We are hitting the ground running, but figuring somewhere in the $25-$30/hr range for this part time 1099 position (no benefits). Thanks, John
