My Pre-K classes are 45 minutes (ugh) and we stay pretty happy &
busy using almost entirely materials from the First Steps in
Music curriculum (that's the John Feierabrand stuff) so
definitely check those out at convention if you get a chance!!
Those materials have really improved my happiness in class.
I often add in rhythm instrument activities from a great book
called 101 Rhythm Instrument Activities for Young Children and a
large variety of "activity songs" like freeze dance or shake
your sillies out so 5-10 minutes of each lesson is quite active.
