Post: Where are we going?

So, I am going to stir the pot today.
A few days ago I was in our local music store, and an
interesting comment was made. Basically, the stores main
business has changed from selling band instruments, to
selling guitars, keyboards, and computer software and
support. So my question to us music educators is:
Where is music education going and what will it look like
in the future?
