A nice feature of smartphones is that I can set an alarm for myself to
go off at any point in the future, and include a note for the alarm.
Another low-tech option I've also used to remember things is to send
myself an e-card! You can set the delivery date on most sites for up to
a year in advance. So you get your reminder and a cute card too :)
