Hello friends! For my holiday concert, I need suggestions for songs to sing at the end as a sing-along with the audience. I'm looking for NON Christmas songs. We have done Frosty the Snowman for about 15 years, and I am just plain tired of it! Jingle Bells is out, since kindergarten is singing it. I'm considering Let It Snow. Can you think of anything else that would be fitting for everyone to sing, regardless of religious background, but familiar to all? Thank you!
bec Cooroo cooroo (I think by Wagner) is beautiful and serene. A little roudier and in our textbooks is "Winter Fantasy" which partners with jingle Bells.

Charlotte There's a great piece that I do with my 2nd grade chorus called "Old Man Winter." I think it's published by Alfred. It's two-part, but I have easily eliminated one part when I had a group that wasn't ready. If you had time to teach it beforehand, it would be a fun one! (Includes stomps and claps in place of left-out words, etc.)

It's Sleigh Ride with choreography -- go to YouTube and look up "Sleigh Ride", then HSES Christmas Sing-Along version. (...See More
