Post: Losing my room

Posted by Melanie on 5/08/08

My principal told me this afternoon that I am "temporarily"
losing my room (for one year - we have an extra bubble
class that we don't have a classroom for). Hopefully it
will really ONLY be one year - I'll believe that when it
    happens.

She is willing to purchase anything I need to make the
    transition work.

So far I've asked for an 80g ipod for my cd's and a docking
station with a remote - all the rooms I'll be teaching in
have SmartBoards so i can plug into the speakers which are
surprisingly of a good quality. I'm looking for suggestions
from all you other current and former alacarte teachers out
there to help me make sure I have what I need.

I won't need to carry books - I'll have them stored in
classrooms and won't use them much anyway because our new
text series will have the books electronically (PDF and
    Powerpoint).

    What are the other must-haves?
