Re: How do you store boomwhackers
Posted by BW on 5/17/08

Boomwhackers, streamers, extra orff bars, and mallets are all in
5 gallon "pickle buckets" or smaller recycled food buckets from
the cafeteria (also coffee cans, oatmeal caontainers). I spray
paint them and but lablels on them covered with contact paper.

Hand drums go in milk crates. They hold four of the same size
but can hold 8+ if they are nested. I have storage behind
sliding white boards, so most everything is out of sight if not
    being used that day.

For scarves, we do some geometry. Everyone learns how to fold
them into squares, triangles and rectangles starting in
kindergarten. Then we fold them over into a rectangle once, and
over again to make a smaller square. Repeat for larger scarves.
Then then neatly place them in the CUBE. I always have a few who
end up wadding it after the have folded, but it generally works.
