Post: teachergirl

Posted by Ashley Wells on 5/15/08

I have been teaching high school science for 10 years, and
I am thinking of switching to a PE teacher. I think I
would like to teach elementary level. I am afraid my
abilities to coach a sport such as basketball, volleyball
aren't that great, however I am in pretty good shape and
can learn. DO I test out or do I need to take a few
classes. I am so ready for a change! What is a day like
for a PE coach? Any advice? I am sure it isn't easy but it
does sound like a lot more fun!
