Stand up for the women in sports! I have always let my girls that wanted to play flag football join in. I use it as an opportunity for the boys to teach them. Sometimes I adjust it where a girl catching a pass is a first down or a TD is worth more. One year I had a big girl named Susan that asked to play. She was a decent athlete but never blew me away. SHE TOTALLY dominated the boys and the game both on D and offense. I asked her about and she said she played with her cousins and uncle. Great kid too. I went to her wedding years later. She could pull flags about as good as any boy I ever had. btw that PE teacher sounds old, stupid and a little and very insecure.
