We use powerpoints too much in the wrong ways. My teammate who designed powerpoints for social studies did a great job and we use guided notes for these. But the students get tired of them. So, I modified them so that students make flashcards from them instead of using the guided notes. They put them in baggies, and when we have time during or at the end of class, I give students time to quiz each other instead of waiting until the end of the unit to do reviews. Karen

Kathy Morlan I'm sorry. Wordle is a site that allows you to enter text to create an image of those words. Take the Gettysburg Address. Copy and paste the text into wordle, and it turns into a word cloud. Trying to get across the ideas of Photosynthesis?
