Head Start is letting us create our own units this year but are picky. My students LOVE dinosaurs and I would love to do a unit on them. My director says it is too hard for them to grasp history and can't hold on to them in their hands. Does anyone know where I can find some research to show her? I know it is not taught in public schools much because it is not in their standards. So sad that something they love isn't taught.
