You will find VERY FEW private schools without qualified teachers. If they are going to charge tuition and become accredited (and why would you send your child to an UNcredited school?) then they HAVE to have qualified teachers. Way back in the early '60's when I made the move from HS to elementary I was taken on by a school on the express condition that I would have my elementary license within two years. I had a degree and had taught at the HS level for 6 years but they demanded the elementary license. Now schools only interview qualified candidates.
